The 1959 french Grand Prix in Reims took place in high temperatures that reached 35°C in the shade and up to 52°C in the sun and all the drivers seemed to suffer adversely except Tony Brooks in his Ferrari Dino 246. He put the Ferrari on pole and then led from Start to Finish.
