Vinatier/jacob, Alpine A110 Rallye Monte-carlo 1970

1970 - 1974

Alpine brought their latest weapon to the Monte-Carlo Rally in 1970 that was their A110 with a 1600cc engine giving 150 bhp and an all-up weight of only 700kg. But it did not bring Jean Vinatier much luck. He chrashed on the first stage going off on black ice and retiring. The little Alpine´s shape still fascinates today through its simple and sportive lines.
